Casa Caïpirão
About this cottage
These 3 new cottages (Casa Caïpirão, Caïpirinha & Caïpiroska) are located a few metres from our original cottages, at the end of the Jardim Pelado cul-de-sac, in a residential neighbourhood. They enjoy a panoramic plunging ocean view, encompassing the western coastal landscape from Calheta to Ponta do Sol.
The Casa Caïpirão is a new single-storey house of 90 m². It has 2 bedrooms (6 sleeping) and a sofa bed in the living room, all living spaces enjoying a stunning ocean view.
This spacious, modern and comfortable house will help make your family or friends' holiday a success. Its large 'caleçada' (volcanic stone) terrace ~20 m² serves the living spaces. The lounge and kitchen open to the outside through large bay windows.
This house has its own entrance and private parking, as well as a beautiful private barbecue area.

Name story
Caïpirão is one of the favourite drinks of Beirão liqueur lovers. It was invented by Professor Eduardo Vicente of the Coimbra Hotel and Tourism School, launched during 'a Queima das Fitas' in 2001. A blend of Portugal and Brazil was bound to appear even at a party. Lime, ice and Beirão liqueur. But no sugar. The recipe is already a maxim no one forgets, and it is the calling card of our Caïpirão.
